What I'm Listening To: There's Nothing - Sean Kingston feat. Paula Deanda
Tomorrow my family and I are driving down to Kuala Lumpur to attend a wedding reception, so we spent most of the day getting all of our housework done. (Joy.)
In the morning I managed to talk to Simon on iChat for a little while... YAY!
It's great talking to my friends. But to be perfectly honest, he's the only person I use Video Chat with except for my family in America. All of my friends here use MSN Messenger :(
In the evening, my dad and I went to Primula Beach Resort to pick up some things that RCKT ( Rotary Club of Kuala Terengganu ) left such as banners, the official meeting belle and the Fine Box.
( http://www.ktrotary.org - This website was made by my dad.. P.s. my dad owns MacClick.com )
The fine game is quite simple, the President of the club (in this case my dad) randomly elects a member of the club to become the Fine Master. The fine master, fines people (well, obviously).
It's actually really funny! I remember the first time I witnessed a fine game, Uncle George fined Dr. Dayal RM1 for wearing a watch. Immediately afterwards he fined my dad for wearing a watch!
Either way, you'll get fined.
The contributions go towards their Fellowship Fund. They hold dinners and partys to build stronger relationships and friendships between the club members.
Our next stop was the Grand Connential hotel where, we struggled to explain the receptionist what we were looking for. I explained it to them in Malay, but for some strange reason - they still didn't get it.
"Haizz...."
After about 15 minutes we managed to get what we were looking for - The Seargant at Arms Poll. It's a 7 foot long poll made of solid wood with a brass Rotary logo at the top, used by the Seargant at Arms during formal events/ceremonies.
Basically, he carries it while following the President around.
Okay last but not least was The Lakeview Restaurant in Tuanku Mizan's Golf & Country Club. The manager was ever-so sweet and speaks English fluently. We gave her the items for her to keep somewhere safe and put up during RCKT's next meeting.
So, that's my day!
Oh and Edric's teammates' two-year-old daughter broke his laptop while he was in the bathroom- she shoved it off the bed.
Ooohh.. Lil' cutie...
Haha
I'm sure it'll be okay - but it just had to happen will i was chatting with him. GRR
