I arrived at school before dawn, as usual... The pitch-dark campus is not at all creepy but kind of lonely. So while waiting impateintly for my friends to arrive, I noticed that the name list for the Approved New Interactors was posted up. After examining it, I raced across campus ain search of every possible flyer and changed the spelling on one of the girl's names. ( Which keeps getting misspelt: It's Quraisha Alya, not Quraisha Aiya ). I dont know if Aiya is even a name!
So if youre wondering what mad girl was bored enough to dash across campus in search of every possible flyer -- That was me. *cough* Didnt I ever tell you that my life was so meaningful to the sacred art of proper spelling?
And afterwards I walked all the way to the other side of the school, up three flights of stairs only to find that I had completely forgotten I was in the wrong building. I was too carried away in my own thoughts ( of guess who?!!! ) to realize where i was going because I was so used to me usual routine!
After enduring a painfully boring duty session as a prefect, we had our daily morning assembly.
Unbelievably, that was nothing compared to what we were about to do next. My friends and I had to wait like 45 minutes for the teachers to finally announce they were going to start a session in the school hall for all Form 3 students who had finished their PMR examinations.... OH JOY!
Speech after speech after speech. This carried on for maybe a little more than two hours.
Each class recieved a schedule for what we were going to learn during the rest of the duration of the school year.
Unsurprisingly, there were no math classes. Or English. Or even science for that matter.
We'll be taking: ICT, Handphone matienance, Japanese Origami ( TAUGHT BY KOUHEI :D:D:D:D), Make-Up Workshop, Temporary Henna Taatooing, Facial Treatments, Etiquitte Grooming: An Interactive Workshop (uhh whatever that means) from Taylor's University College.... These are just to name a few!
The rest of the day, my friends and I hung out and talked. It was a little boring at times, that was of course, until Bryan came downstairs from his Form 4 class ( PONTENG! ) and started singing, Now normally, you'd find this strange, but if you knew him the way we do, you'd understand that it's not unsual to hear him serenading to teaching at staircases or while strolling down the corridors! Hahahaha! He never ceases to bring a smile to our faces!
And I know that no matter what happens, I'll always know that even when we're at at our lowest point of our lives, it's people like him who always make us feel better about ourselves.... and not to mention keep us encouraged and motivated enough to go to school!
